Super Bowl XLII Ends with Giant Inspiration

Know the saying “let’s paint the town red.”? Well, we're painting it blue as the Giants return home from their historical upset of the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Tuesday february 5 is the day the Giants will stroll through the city with the Vince Lombardi in hand.

Many people doubted the Giants because of the opponent on the other side of the ball. The
Patriots (18-0 entering Sunday February 3) were the 12 ½ point favorite to win their 4th title in 7 years. Proclaimed a dynasty after their third title, this fourth one would have solidified them as one of the best teams in the NFL, ever.

The Giants, mostly heart and pride, fought the patriots in a bout that came down to the seconds.
The Giants would score the final TD of the game with :35 seconds left. Eli manning threw a 20yd TD to Plaxico Burress to put the G-men up by 3 PTS.

When asked how the Giants preformed senior football player Jibreel Hilaric said " Good team work, dedication, and staying together, Eli stepped up"

After a mamouth season the Patriots looked as if the Super Bowl was theirs. After and improbable playoff the Giants stormed in with momentum on thier side and vengence in their hands. The Patriots had beaten the G-men in week 17 in a close contest.

The Patriots were to arrogant, as the week before they trademarked 19-0, yet they're 18-1." The hype is well deserved. one of the most embarrasing moments for the patriots. as thier arrogance led to their demise said Curtis Joesph, a school aid in Jamaica HS.

This game, our Giants have inspired teams all over, of all stages and will continue as they pulled off the greatest upset ever.

They have inspired players of diffrent sports as junior swimmer Frederick G. Chandler explained, "It comes to show you that anything can happen. play down to the last second."

The most impact that this game has on are future or current football players. It will inspire players to never give up, no matter the opponent . Junior Elihu Barclay who is a wide reciver on the football team said "To see these athletes perform so well, no one thought that the Giants would make it. The fact that they won the Super Bowl makes me feel that my team can step up and win the P.S.A.L championship. The Giants were the underdogs, and were the underdogs."

I dont think you should open up the article using "you".

"Well, were painting it blue as the Giants return home from their historical upset of the Patriots in Super bowl 42." WHAT? and since tuesday is over you shouldn't use it as present tense.

"The Giants, mostly heart and pride, fought the patriots in a bout that came down to the seconds." - REPHRASE it doesnt make sense.

"mamouth season" many readers may not understand what that means.

The format of the article is great. The article is quite confusing but overall its good.
